No, but it is the most cost-effective combination. Without panels a battery can still earn money on a dynamic energy contract: charging during cheap hours, discharging during the expensive evening peak.

A regular (string) inverter only converts solar power. A hybrid inverter also has a battery connection and energy management: it continuously decides whether power is used directly, stored or fed back. A DC-coupled home battery requires a hybrid inverter; your panels stay exactly where they are.

The number of phases of your grid connection determines which version you need. Most homes are single-phase; homes with a heat pump, charging point or high electrical load are often three-phase. You can see it in your meter cupboard (1 or 3 main fuses) or on your energy bill.

The net-metering scheme ends on 1 January 2027. Until then you can offset power fed back against your consumption; after that you only receive a (low) feed-in payment. Storing and using your own power then becomes the norm.

That depends on your generation, consumption and tariff. As a guide: shifting the day's solar surplus to the evening saves the difference between the supply tariff and the feed-in payment, often €0.25 or more per kWh. Ask us for an indicative calculation for your situation.

Yes. With the smart energy meter added, the energy management system responds to hourly prices: charging when power is cheap, discharging when it is expensive. That way you benefit even without a solar surplus.

For a normal profile (solar panels + average use) the indicative payback time is usually between 5 and 8 years, well within the system's service life. After net metering ends it becomes shorter. We calculate it honestly, without promising savings we cannot guarantee.

You then receive a fixed quote; only once you approve it do you order the hardware and we schedule the work.

Certainly. Any qualified installer can fit our systems; we supply all documentation and manuals. The manufacturer's warranty remains fully valid as long as the installation is carried out by a qualified installer according to the manual.

Replacing an inverter is half a day's work; a complete system (inverter + battery + smart meter) usually one business day. The installer tests the system and hands it over working, including app pairing.

Usually in the garage, storage room or utility room, on the wall or floor. Most models are IP65/IP66 and may also be placed outdoors, out of direct sunlight. The intake confirms the best spot for your situation.

Products in stock are delivered free within 3–5 business days, throughout the Netherlands. You receive track & trace as soon as the shipment is on its way. Heavy batteries come by pallet; the driver calls in advance.

For Huawei that is 10 years on the SUN2000 inverters and 5 years on the LUNA2000 batteries, rising to 15 years for as long as the system stays connected to FusionSolar. Batteries also carry a capacity warranty. We are your point of contact: you email us, we handle the claim with the manufacturer and track the progress. See the warranty page for the details.

You have 14 days from receipt to change your mind. The product must be unused and not installed. Return shipping is for the buyer; for palletised goods we arrange the transport and state the cost in advance.

Note visible damage with the driver and report it within 48 hours with a photo. We then send a replacement product straight away: no negotiation needed.
