Article 1: Definitions

In these terms, the following definitions apply:

• ThuisAccuDirect: the seller, Belvicon Ltd, established at Spyrou Kyprianou 78, Magnum Business Center, 3rd floor, 3076 Limassol, Cyprus, registered under registration number HE 492478, VAT number CY60356108A.
• Customer: the natural or legal person entering into an agreement with ThuisAccuDirect.

Article 2: Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to every offer made by ThuisAccuDirect and to every distance contract concluded between ThuisAccuDirect and the customer.

Article 3: The offer

All offers on the website are without obligation. Prices shown are in euros, including 21% VAT, excluding any shipping costs (unless stated otherwise).

Article 4: The agreement

The agreement is formed at the moment the customer accepts the offer and meets the conditions attached to it (including payment).

Article 5: Right of withdrawal

See our return policy for the full terms of the right of withdrawal, including the cost of returning goods. The model withdrawal form is at the bottom of that page. You are not obliged to use it: you may also communicate your withdrawal in any other unambiguous way via [email protected].

Article 6: Prices and payment

Payment is made via the payment methods offered on the website, including iDEAL. Payment takes place before the product is shipped.

See our shipping policy. Stated delivery times are indicative.

Article 8: Warranty

Our products are covered by manufacturer warranty as stated on the relevant product page. See also our warranty page. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. The manufacturer warranty applies only where the product has been installed by a certified installer. When making a warranty claim you must demonstrate this with proof of professional installation, for example an installation invoice from the installer. Keep that proof safe; without it the manufacturer may reject a warranty claim.

Article 9: Installation

ThuisAccuDirect sells hardware only. Installation is not part of the purchase agreement. At the customer's request, ThuisAccuDirect may, as a non-binding courtesy, put the customer in touch with an independent installer. ThuisAccuDirect does not select, vet, instruct, or supervise this installer, receives no fee or commission for the referral, and gives no guarantee regarding their work. The installation agreement is concluded exclusively between the customer and the installer; the installer, as an independent business, is solely responsible for the installation. The products we sell may only be installed by a certified installer, in accordance with NEN 1010 and the manufacturer's installation instructions. Installation by yourself or by a non-certified party is not permitted and voids the manufacturer warranty.

Article 10: Liability

ThuisAccuDirect's liability for damages, on any grounds, is limited to the invoice amount of the relevant order. ThuisAccuDirect is never liable for indirect damages, including consequential loss, lost profit, or business interruption.

ThuisAccuDirect is not liable for damage arising from the installation of the product, regardless of who performs it, as installation is not part of the agreement between ThuisAccuDirect and the customer.

This limitation naturally doesn't apply where the law doesn't allow it, for example in cases of intent or wilful recklessness on our part, harm resulting in death or personal injury, or statutory product liability. In those cases we remain liable, exactly as the law requires.

Article 11: Applicable law and disputes

Dutch law applies to all agreements. If you are not satisfied with how we handled your complaint, you can submit a dispute via the European ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
