Huawei names 1 battery brands in its own compatibility documents. That comes from our dataset of 544 manufacturer-released combinations. The count tells you how much freedom you keep: an inverter that names many battery brands lets you choose when you expand, one that names a couple locks you to that brand. Release is conditional, usually on a minimum firmware version.

Up to 25.5 kWp of panels, against 17 kW the inverter delivers on the grid side. That 1.5x oversizing is deliberate: panels reach peak output only a handful of hours a year, so an inverter sized exactly to the array sits idle most of the time. At roughly 430 Wp per panel, 25.5 kWp works out at about 59 panels.
