Do you sell AlphaESS home batteries?
We do not currently sell AlphaESS home batteries. That is stated plainly, because a page implying stock that does not exist wastes the reader's click. The brand is barely available in the Netherlands and our supplier does not carry it, so we could not stand behind a delivery time or a warranty claim. It also misses our own price index: too few Dutch shops list it to compute a reliable median. If you want comparable storage that is actually available, the capacity pages are the fastest starting point, listing every brand we do carry side by side on price per kWh.
What we can say about AlphaESS is in our open datasets on cell chemistry, compatibility and price per kWh. Those are built independently of our stock and cover brands we do not carry. As soon as AlphaESS becomes available from our supplier at a price we can justify, the brand will appear here.
From that date the feed-in credit for solar power largely disappears. A home battery lets you use more of your own generated power yourself, including in the evening, instead of exporting it at a low rate.

Our supplier does not carry the brand, so we could not stand behind a delivery time, a warranty claim or a return route. What we do carry is sorted by capacity on the capacity pages.
We cannot give a reliable figure for that. AlphaESS does not make our price index: too few Dutch shops list the brand to compute a median that means anything. For comparison, across all brands the Dutch median is 328 euro per kWh including VAT, measured over 1,020 offers at 61 shops. A brand that is barely on sale anywhere is also hard to compare.
Two reasons, neither of them about the quality of the brand. The first is sourcing: we buy from one wholesaler and it does not carry this brand, so there is no price we can rely on. The second is that we only sell what we can stand behind, including warranty and returns, and without a supply relationship with the manufacturer or importer we cannot. As soon as that changes, the brand appears here.
The capacity pages are the fastest starting point: every brand we do carry, side by side, sorted on price, in classes of 5, 10, 15 and 20 kWh. Everything we sell uses LFP cell chemistry and is permanently installed storage, so it is comparable in application to what you were looking for here.
Against our three open datasets, which are built independently of our stock and cover brands we do not sell. The price index gives the Dutch median price per kWh across 1,020 offers at 61 shops. The cell chemistry dataset gives the chemistry per model with the manufacturer document behind it. The compatibility table gives 544 manufacturer-released battery and inverter combinations. All three are published under CC BY 4.0 and may be quoted.
We do not give a date, because we could not keep it: it depends on when a wholesaler we buy from picks up the brand at a price we can justify. What is fixed is the condition. There has to be a real single-unit purchase price, LFP cell chemistry demonstrable from a manufacturer document, and a workable return route. If any one of those is missing, the brand stays here without a buy button.
Where do these figures come from?
Every number on this page comes from one of our three open datasets. They are built independently of our own stock and cover brands we do not sell, so the measurement does not depend on what happens to be in our shop.
- Dutch home battery price index Median 328 euro per kWh including VAT, measured across 1,020 offers at 61 Dutch online shops between 2026-08-16 and 2026-09-01. With medians per capacity class and per brand, and the full method including every exclusion rule.
