Deye inverter: all models and prices
Deye supplies versatile hybrid inverters from 0.6 to 15 kW, popular for their broad compatibility with home batteries. Compare all Deye inverters we supply below, incl. VAT and manufacturer warranty.
What does a Deye inverter cost and does it work with a home battery?
Deye inverters cost between 284 and 25,145 euro including VAT here. We carry 76 Deye inverter models and 19 matching battery models. Deye has 145 battery combinations officially released across 132 battery brands, including ACE, AOBOET, APIUM and ASGOFT. Every row in our compatibility table names the manufacturer document the combination came from. Deye batteries sit at 171 euro per kWh, about 48 percent below the Dutch market median of 328 euro per kWh.
A hybrid inverter is required as soon as solar panels and a home battery have to work on the same system. Voltage and communication protocol both have to match, or the battery will not charge even if the connectors fit. On a three-phase connection choose a three-phase inverter too, otherwise you can only export on one phase. Installation belongs with a certified installer, who wires it into the consumer unit and registers it with the grid operator.
From that date the feed-in credit for solar power largely disappears. A home battery lets you use more of your own generated power yourself, including in the evening, instead of exporting it at a low rate.

Frequently asked questions
Deye inverters cost between 284 and 25,145 euro including VAT here. We carry 76 Deye inverter models, plus 19 battery models from the same brand. Price mainly follows the power rating and whether the model is hybrid: a hybrid inverter can drive a home battery as well as solar panels, and therefore costs more than a string inverter of the same rating.
Only the hybrid models, and only with batteries Deye has released. We count 145 officially released battery combinations for Deye across 132 battery brands: ACE, AOBOET, APIUM and ASGOFT. A string inverter only converts solar power for direct use and export and cannot charge a battery. Each product page states which type a model is.
The release list decides that, not the price. Start from the combinations the manufacturer has approved and compare those on price per kWh. Deye's own batteries sit at 171 euro per kWh, about 48 percent below the Dutch market median of 328 euro per kWh. The same model costs a median 22 percent more at the dearest Dutch shop than at the cheapest, so comparing on model number usually pays better than switching brand. The middle half of all Dutch offers sits between 249 and 424 euro per kWh.
Yes, if you want to export and discharge across all three phases. A single-phase inverter on a three-phase connection does work, but you then export on one phase while the other two keep drawing. Whether that costs you anything depends on how your meter nets across phases. From roughly 5 kW of inverter power, many Dutch grid operators require three phases anyway.
A string inverter converts direct current from the solar panels into alternating current for direct use and export, and does nothing else. A hybrid inverter also has a connection and a control loop for a home battery, so surplus goes into the battery first and onto the grid only afterwards. If you want to add a battery later without replacing the inverter, choosing hybrid now is cheaper than swapping later.
Yes. An inverter is wired permanently into the consumer unit and registered with the grid operator, which is work for a certified electrician under NEN 1010. We supply the hardware; installation you arrange yourself or through our installation partner on request. Wiring it yourself in practice voids the factory warranty and can affect your buildings insurance.
Where do these figures come from?
Every number on this page comes from one of our three open datasets. They are built independently of our own stock and cover brands we do not sell, so the measurement does not depend on what happens to be in our shop.
- Dutch home battery price index Median 328 euro per kWh including VAT, measured across 1,020 offers at 61 Dutch online shops between 2026-08-16 and 2026-09-01. With medians per capacity class and per brand, and the full method including every exclusion rule.
- Cell chemistry per model The cell chemistry of every home battery we sell, established per model, each row naming the manufacturer document it came from, plus the models rejected after checking.
- Battery and inverter compatibility 544 manufacturer-released combinations of home battery and inverter, merged from official compatibility documents, each row naming its conditions and its source document.
